Mouth Guards

The mouth guard is an oral appliance that the patient wears during sleep so that it can absorb all the grinding and clenching forces. Our dentist takes an impression of the patient’s teeth and sends the impression to the dental lab. Using the impression, the dental lab takes care of the entire fabrication process and delivers the completed custom dental guard to our office. Anyone who experiences habitual teeth grinding (burxism) should consider seeking treatment. Bruxism can lead to a variety of serious problems. These include broken and damaged teeth, headaches, neck and jaw pain.
