A: Yes. With routine dental check up and home care.

A: Ideally after every meal (caution: Overzealous brushing with faulty brushing techniques leads to abnormal tooth wear).Our office recommends twice a day. Morning and night.

Q: How often should I have my teeth cleaned professionally?
A: Ideally, 3-4 times a year. Our office recommends at least twice a year.

Q: What does it mean when my gums bleed during brushing?
A: This is a sign of early disease of tooth supporting structures and needs to be treated. The bleeding gums are a sign that the irritating build-up of debris and plaque from under the gums needs to be removed. If left untreated, this condition leads to tooth loss.

Q: Will oral health affect general health?
A: Yes. Certain conditions of the mouth on occasions may lead to infections of major organs such as heart, lungs, etc.It is important to regularly have the mouth checked for signs of abnormality for they may be the initial manifestations of general diseases.
